Hello Friday

Strategic marketing and growth consultancy

Stop doing randomacts of marketing.

Build a marketing system that actually supports your growth.

You're already marketing your business. But if the results feel inconsistent, the answer isn't necessarily to do more.

Hello Friday helps established service businesses work out what's getting in the way of growth — then put the strategy, marketing and systems in place to fix it.

THE PROBLEM

You're doing marketing. So why doesn't it feel like it's working?

You've got a website. You're creating content. Perhaps you've invested in SEO, ads, video, networking or an agency. There's plenty happening — but it's difficult to see how it all connects.

Leads come in, but follow-up isn't always consistent. Prospects who aren't ready today disappear. You're not entirely sure which activity is generating the best opportunities, or where potential customers are dropping out along the way.

And every new idea adds another piece of marketing to manage.

When that happens, the answer isn't necessarily more marketing.

THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY

Getting attention is only the beginning.

A potential customer sees your content.

They visit your website. Then what?

They make an enquiry. What happens next?

They're interested, but they're not ready to buy today. Do you have a way of staying in touch?

And when they do become a customer, does the journey continue — or does marketing start all over again looking for the next one?

This is where I look beyond individual marketing activities and at the whole journey.

ATTRACT
CAPTURE
NURTURE
CONVERT
RETAIN

Because good marketing shouldn't be a collection of disconnected tactics. The message, customer journey, follow-up, sales process and technology behind it should work together — and they should be connected to what the business is actually trying to achieve.

THE APPROACH

More marketing isn't always the answer.

If growth has stalled, it's tempting to add something.

A new campaign. More content. Paid ads. A new website. A CRM. An AI tool.

Any of those things might be the right answer.

But if the real problem is that your positioning isn't clear, your website isn't converting, leads aren't being followed up or your sales journey has a hole in it, adding more activity can simply mean spending more money feeding the wrong part of the system.

That's why I don't start by selling you a tactic.

We start by working out what's actually getting in the way.

THE 90-DAY ENGAGEMENT

One growth objective. 90 days to move it forward.

Every Hello Friday engagement starts with a commercial objective.

You might want to generate more qualified enquiries, improve conversion, fill a programme, grow a particular service, build a more predictable route to new customers or stop valuable opportunities disappearing between marketing and sales.

Whatever the goal, we start there.

Diagnose

First, we get underneath what's happening now. We look at your marketing, numbers, customer journey and current processes to understand where the real constraint sits.

Build

Then we get to work. What we work on depends on what we uncover. Some things I'll lead, some we'll develop together, and there will be actions for you and your team too.

Embed

As we build, we also make sure the work can continue without me. Templates, processes, workflows, training — whatever your business needs to keep it running.

The principle doesn't change: we build something your business can keep using.

HOW WE WORK

Strategy is only useful if something changes because of it.

I'm not interested in handing you a big strategy document, wishing you luck and checking back in three months.

The work happens during the 90 days.

We meet regularly to make decisions, review progress and work through the priorities. Between those meetings, I keep things moving, you know what I'm working on and we keep track of the actions that sit with you and your team.

Where it makes sense, we'll also establish the numbers that tell us whether what we're doing is working.

Because a beautifully executed marketing campaign isn't much use if it isn't moving the thing we actually agreed mattered.

The aim is progress, not marketing activity for marketing activity's sake.

ABOUT ALLISON

Marketing brain. Operational mindset.

Hi, I'm Allison.

I've spent more than 20 years working across marketing, business operations and consultancy, including senior in-house marketing leadership.

And that combination has shaped the way I work.

I care about the positioning, message and campaign — but I'm equally interested in what happens after somebody responds to it.

Where does the lead go? Who follows it up? What happens if they don't buy immediately? Can you see what's in the pipeline? Do you know which activity is actually contributing to growth?

That operational mindset means I naturally look for the gaps between the pieces, rather than treating marketing as a collection of separate activities.

Hello Friday gives growing businesses access to that thinking without having to build an entire senior marketing function in-house.

RESULTS
“Before working with Allison, marketing was something I had to find time for on top of running the business. Now it just runs. I know what's happening and why, without having to drive it myself.”

THE CHALLENGE

No marketing strategy or function in place, and a positioning problem: how to carry the trust of a national brand while telling the story of a local, family-run business.

THE WORK

Built the marketing strategy and positioning, then put the foundations and a repeatable content system in place to deliver it.

THE OUTCOME

From no marketing function at all to an operation the business runs in-house, without the owner driving it. Website traffic and social presence both building from a standing start.

WHAT’S NEXT

Turning that attention into enquiries, then into work, through capture, nurture, conversion and retention.

Know you want to grow, but not sure what needs fixing first?

You don't need to diagnose the problem before you contact me.
That's my job.

Tell me a little about your business, where you want to get to and what seems to be getting in the way. If it looks like I can help, I'll be in touch to book a discovery conversation where we can get into the detail.

I'll take a proper look at what you're trying to achieve and whether I'm the right person to help.
